The 2 CFB (Circulating Fluidzed-Bed) boilers of our company adopt the Clean Coal Technology Programs published by United States Department of Energy, which is suitable when coal and petroleum coke are used as the fuel. 

It’s just that in recent years, the society of Taiwan doesn’t have much understanding of this clean energy program, resulting in misunderstanding about the use of petroleum coke in it, which has caused a lot of misgivings. In order to avoid the misgivings of the outside about this program published by United States Department of Energy, and to conform to the policies of the government of Yunlin County, our company has decided to replace petroleum coke with coal after discreet consideration. 

Because according to law, the change of fuel must go through the procedure of environmental impact assessment, it is estimated that the application will be submitted before June 15th, and the fuel can be changed into coal within half year after the approval of the Environmental Protection Department. And in order to ensure that we can still meet the emission criterion policy of the government of Yunlin County after the fuel is changed into coal, our company still needs to spend another 2 years and invest 1 billion yuan on relevant pollution prevention equipment.
